BOQ Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:
- Prepare, manage, and ensure accuracy of Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for various projects.
- Measure and estimate material quantities and project timelines.
- Work with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Analyze project data and prepare reports on material costs, labor costs, and project timelines.
- Monitor project progress and provide updates to management and stakeholders.
- Assist in the procurement of materials and services needed for projects.
- Conduct risk, value management, and cost control exercises.
- Advise on procurement strategy and contract management.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, standards, and regulations in all aspects of project delivery.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in quantity surveying and preparation of BOQ.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficient in using industry-specific software and tools.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and calculations.
- Strong understanding of construction and project management processes.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional certification in quantity surveying (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is preferred.
- Minimum of 6-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience working on-site with practical exposure to construction projects.
- Thorough knowledge of building codes, regulations, and legal standards.
