Senior Structural Design Engineer - Work Together

Our client Work Together is hiring a Senior Structural Design Engineer in Rawalpindi.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the structural design process for various types of construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop detailed engineering plans, specifications, and calculations for structural components.
- Collaborate with architects, construction managers, and other engineers to integrate structural elements seamlessly.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in structural engineering.
- Review and approve design work from internal and external partners to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
- Conduct site visits to assess and analyze structural integrity and oversee the implementation of design plans.
- Utilize software tools for structural analysis and design, ensuring efficient and innovative solutions.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to support project proposals and client meetings.
- Address and resolve any design and construction issues promptly to ensure project progress and quality.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering and design.
- Proven experience in leading complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Advanced knowledge of building codes, standards, and structural analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
- Experience in mentoring and developing junior engineering staff.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a Master’s degree is preferable.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification required.
- Demonstrated expertise in structural design for steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures.
- Strong understanding of load calculations, material strengths, and construction methods.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client and team interactions.
