DRPM (Deputy Regional Project Manager)

Job Summary

XAD Technologies Pakistan is looking for an experienced and results-driven Deputy Regional Project Manager (DRPM) to oversee telecom operations and field activities within the region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for team management, customer coordination, project monitoring, reporting, and ensuring compliance with Huawei standards, protocols, SOPs, and ISDP requirements. The candidate should possess strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills to ensure successful project execution and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and manage telecom field teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Coordinate with customers and stakeholders to address operational requirements and project-related issues.
• Monitor and control field activities related to MW, Wireless, Power, Survey, 2G, 3G, 4G, LTE, and 5G sites.
• Ensure compliance with Huawei standards, protocols, SOPs, ISDP processes, EHS, and Quality Control (QC) requirements.
• Oversee Swap, Extension, and Rollout activities across the assigned region.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly management reports.
• Track project KPIs, productivity, quality, and operational performance.
• Support workforce planning, task allocation, and resource management.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned projects and customer deliverables.
• Conduct performance monitoring and provide guidance to field teams.
• Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain effective communication between management, customers, and field teams.
• Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, Environment (HSE/EHS) and company policies.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a Deputy Regional Project Manager (DRPM) role or a similar telecom management position.
• Practical knowledge of Huawei Equipment, Protocols, SOPs, and ISDP processes.
• Strong experience in telecom projects involving:
• Microwave (MW)
• Wireless Networks
• Power Systems
• Site Survey Activities
• 2G, 3G, 4G, LTE, and 5G Sites
• Swap, Extension, and Rollout Projects
  
• Experience working on Huawei and/or Nokia telecom projects.
• Knowledge of EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and Quality Control (QC) standards.
• Strong team management and customer coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent reporting, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of telecom operations and project management practices.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing large telecom deployment and maintenance projects.
• PMP, Telecom, or Project Management certifications will be considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with Huawei project management tools and reporting systems.
