Field Operator Process

Pak-Arab Refinery Limited Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO), an integrated energy conglomerate, is a Joint Venture between Pakistan and Emirate of Abu Dhabi. PARCO is seeking applications for the position of Field Operator-Proces.

Qualifications & Competencies

• DAE or B. Tech in Chemical Technology from a recognized institute.
• The candidate should be conversant with Process Units Operation Monitoring & Control and familiar with DCS system.
• Good knowledge of computer software (MS Office) and SAP etc.
• Good communication, analytical, problem solving & trouble shooting skills.
• Possess excellent understanding of HSE system, in particular Process Safety Management.
  
  

Experience

1-12 years of relevant experience as “Plant Operator” at Refinery/ Petrochemical/ Fertilizer Plant. Preference will be given to Refinery experience.

Responsibilities

• The incumbent will be responsible for keeping process units & allied equipment in good working conditions as per specified operating parameters.
• Follow the existing Permit to Work (PTW) system and safe handing over/ taking over of equipment for maintenance jobs.
• Responsible for monitoring and adjusting process parameters to maintain safe, stable and efficient operations.
• Responsible for safe start-up and shutdown of plant as per standard operating procedures (SOP's).
• Keeping Shift Engineer/ DCS Controller informed of any abnormal condition at the Plant.
• Maintaining logbook and prepare shift report.
