We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Associate to join our growing team. This position is ideal for individuals with fresh to 2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related fields. As a Finance Associate, you will assist in various financial operations and help ensure the smooth functioning of our finance department.

As a Finance Associate, you will assist in various financial operations and help ensure the smooth functioning of our finance department.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily financial operations including processing transactions, maintaining records, and reconciling accounts.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all entries are accurate and completed on time.
- Prepare and analyse financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment follow-ups.
- Monitor financial data for accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other statutory filings.
- Collaborate with internal teams and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
- Participate in audits and assist in providing requested documentation and reports.
- Assist with the implementation of financial systems and process improvements.
- Fresh graduate with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (or up to 2 years of professional experience in finance or accounting).
- Basic understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., Zero, QuickBooks) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the finance department.
- Preferred Skills (optional):
- Knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Familiarity with financial modelling and analysis techniques.
- Previous internship or work experience in finance is a plus.
