Job Overview:

As an HR Intern at Datum Labs, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our recruitment process and various HR activities. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for assisting in talent sourcing, screening candidates, and facilitating the recruitment life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying, attracting, and engaging top talent through various platforms such as LinkedIn, job boards, and referrals.
  • Post job openings, manage job descriptions, and ensure accurate and timely updates on recruitment platforms.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct initial phone interviews and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Assist with the preparation and scheduling of interviews, ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
  • Maintain and update candidate databases and tracking systems to ensure up-to-date records.
  • Support in building and nurturing relationships with potential candidates and maintaining talent pipelines for future hiring needs.
  • Conduct reference checks and assist in onboarding new hires.
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and support HR team activities such as training, development, and performance management.
  • Help with various administrative HR tasks, such as preparing reports, maintaining employee records, and managing HR documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Prior experience in HR or recruitment is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong ability to identify and engage with top talent through various channels.
    • Familiarity with social media platforms, job boards, and recruitment tools.
    • Attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and team members.
    • A positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
    • High level of professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
    • Strong initiative and the ability to work independently.
