Manager – Budgeting, Reporting & Plant Controlling

We are looking for a dynamic and commercially focused Manager – Budgeting, Reporting & Plant Controlling to join our finance team based in Lahore. This role is pivotal in driving financial planning, performance reporting, and plant controlling while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to support business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting process for the polyester manufacturing plant, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, and Production teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Perform detailed variance analysis of actual performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key business drivers and recommending corrective actions.
- Review monthly management accounts and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and reporting schedules.
- Support rolling forecasts, financial planning, and business performance analysis.
- Monitor and analyze energy consumption and identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiencies.
- Manage working capital planning, forecasting, and actual performance analysis to improve cash flow and liquidity.
- Strengthen internal controls, financial governance, and compliance with company policies and reporting standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting accuracy, and decision-support capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- CA, ACCA, CMA, or MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution.
- 6–10 years of progressive experience in budgeting, reporting, FP&A, or plant controlling within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the polyester, chemicals, textiles, or other process manufacturing industries will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and business partnering skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
