Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Operational Risk to support and strengthen the Bank’s Operational Risk Management Framework. The role is responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, mitigating, and reporting operational risks arising from people, processes, systems, and external events, while ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and the Bank’s risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of the Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF) in line with regulatory guidelines and Basel standards.
• Facilitate Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) across business and support functions.
• Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), track threshold breaches, and perform trend analysis.
• Manage operational loss data collection, incident reporting, and loss database maintenance.
• Support implementation of operational risk systems, tools, automation initiatives, and dashboards.
• Conduct independent control testing to assess the effectiveness of key controls.
• Prepare periodic operational risk reports for Management, BRC, ERMC, and CRO.
• Conduct operational risk awareness sessions and trainings to promote a strong risk culture.
• Coordinate with Internal Audit, Compliance, and business stakeholders on operational risk matters and remediation activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• 5–8+ years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, including at least 3 years in Operational Risk, Compliance, Internal Controls, or a related function.
• Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, internal controls, and operational risk mitigation strategies.
