Our client ATT. is looking for a Mechanical Engineer - Technical Sales & Tender Support in Karachi

We are a leading industrial Trade & Service company, TRACE Certified, ISO registered, and listed with DUNS & Bradstreet. Our primary clientele includes EPC contractors, explorers, operators, and industrial suppliers across the power generation, fertilizers, and oil & gas sectors. We also provide installations, commissioning & startup services in these sectors.

Due to increasing project complexity and expanding business requirements, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong technical sales expertise to support our commercial and technical operations to support on technical parameters, specification reviews, and supplier–buyer technical alignment, as well as after Sales Support

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and interpret mechanical specifications, datasheets, and technical requirements to ensure compliance with client specifications.
• Assess supplier and manufacturer compliance with buyer technical specifications, verifying technical accuracy and quality standards.
• Support bidding processes by participating in pre-bid evaluations, providing technical clarifications, and contributing to bid documentation preparation.
• Serve as a technical interface between buyers, suppliers, and manufacturers to facilitate effective communication and resolve technical issues.
• Evaluate mechanical equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines, valves, piping systems, pressure vessels, rotating and static equipment, and specialized mechanical packages used in power generation and oil and gas sectors.
• Participate actively in technical meetings, clarifications, and negotiations with clients and suppliers to support contract finalizations and project execution.
• Interpret mechanical specifications in detail to provide accurate technical advice during the sales and tender process.
• Provide after-sales support to ensure product performance and resolve any technical issues that arise post-delivery.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure engineering solutions meet both technical and commercial requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, mechanical technologies, and market trends to enhance tender responses and technical sales strategies.
• Document technical evaluations, supplier assessments, and client communications thoroughly to ensure transparency and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Expertise in reviewing international standards and codes (API, ASME, ASTM, ISO, IEC, etc.).
