We're currently expanding our engineering team with a MERN stack developer who also has hands-on experience in building scalable web scraping tools.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled MERN Stack Developer with a solid background in backend/frontend JavaScript technologies and a proven track record in web scraping. This is a full-time onsite role where you will be responsible for building scalable full-stack applications and scraping tools used for data aggregation across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)
• Build and maintain scalable web scraping scripts and automation tools using Puppeteer, Playwright, or Cheerio
• Integrate APIs, third-party services, and backend systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement application features
• Handle frontend state management using Redux or Context API
• Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness across devices
• Manage scraping logs, proxies, user-agent rotation, and anti-bot countermeasures
• Participate in Agile sprints, peer reviews, and continuous integration pipelines
  
  

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience with MERN stack development
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), async/await, and API integration
• Experience with web scraping libraries like Puppeteer, Cheerio, Playwright, or Selenium
• Knowledge of HTML parsing, dynamic content extraction, and CAPTCHA bypass techniques
• Experience with MongoDB and RESTful API development
• Good understanding of authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth)
• Ability to manage large-scale scraping jobs with error handling and retry logic
• Familiarity with Git and deployment processes
  
  

Must Have

• Proven experience in both frontend (React) and backend (Node.js, Express.js)
• Experience in building and scaling scraping tools
• Comfortable working with large datasets and asynchronous job queues
