Your Impact

You will support the design and implementation of transformation programs across a variety of industries.

You will be ensuring long-term impact delivery including but not limited to: capability building, organizational structure, operational excellence, setting up and executing transformation office, digital transformation, restructuring execution, turnaround execution, M&A post-merger integration or similar.

You will manage workstreams largely independently, with the support of a Delivery Manager or Senior Manager working with McKinsey colleagues and client teams. You will gradually assume responsibility for delivering parts of a project. You will lead junior consultants and clients in your project or workstream and successfully hold client meetings and workshops to achieve the project's objectives.

You will be involved from strategy through execution as part of a team creating impact. You will have the opportunity to prepare complex analyses as well as communicate with clients and internal leadership. You will develop trust-based relationships with clients and deliver results as a specialist in strategy execution and impact creation. You will establish trust-based relationships with clients to better serve their organizations, communicate effectively with all audiences including senior leaders, and develop your leadership style, leveraging your own passions, strengths, and personal values.

You will contribute to the development of the firm through participation in internal projects and will grow in a stimulating and human environment. You will be based in our Karachi office, where our mission is to carry out complex transformation projects for our clients.

Your Qualifications and Skills

• Undergraduate or master’s degree in commerce, finance, business studies, operations, economics, or a related field, with an outstanding academic record
• 4+ years of project delivery in consulting for manufacturing, financial, or engineering industries; digital or international experience is a plus
• Understanding of both business and technical aspects of technology/digital transformations within industries
• Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following key service offerings is a plus: organizational development (including org. design/set up, talent management, etc.), transformational delivery (implementing large transformational programs), and productivity and performance improvement
• Superior analytical problem-solving and relationship-building skills, including a demonstrated high level of client service commitment
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization
• Language fluency skills to communicate complex ideas effectively in English and Urdu
