Senior Learning & Capability Development Manager

Job Purpose

To lead the design, development, and implementation of a comprehensive learning and NFL career development strategy that is seamlessly linked with the organization’s integrated talent management strategy. The role focuses on building future-ready capabilities and providing structured growth paths that enable employees to reach their professional potential while meeting evolving business needs.

Principal Responsibilities

• Strategic Capability Development
• Design and execute a Learning & Development (L&D) strategy that aligns with the broader integrated talent management framework to enhance overall organizational capability.
• Identify and prioritize the skills and capabilities required for the future, ensuring the L&D roadmap supports long-term business sustainability.
• Drive the transition toward a culture of continual learning by embedding development initiatives into the daily employee experience.

• Learning Frameworks & Career Pathing
• Lead the development of career development frameworks and processes, including specialized programs for professional growth, to ensure clear development trajectories for all employees.
• Establish a robust L&D framework that encompasses the entire training cycle: needs analysis, delivery of cost-effective interventions, and evaluation of Return on Investment (ROI).
• Direct the management of specialized development streams, such as management / functional trainee programs and internships, to build a strong internal pipeline of skilled professionals.

• Program Design & Innovation
• Oversee the design and delivery of in-house training programs (technical, behavioral, leadership, and induction), ensuring content is technically accurate and aligned with desired learning outcomes.
• Stay ahead of industry trends to implement innovative learning methodologies, specifically leveraging the 70:20:10 approach, blended learning solutions, and self-directed learning platforms.
• Collaborate with the Employee Experience team to leverage Digital HR solutions, enhancing the delivery and accessibility of learning content.

• Operational Excellence & Integration
• Manage the annual training budget, establishing tracking mechanisms to report on planned vs. actual expenditures and variances.
• Select and manage third-party training providers and vendors, ensuring they meet the organization's quality standards and procurement protocols.
• Partner closely with HR Business Partners and Managers to ensure that learning interventions are integrated into performance improvement needs and business-specific challenges.
