Social Media Intern

Job Summary

1to1 Plans is looking for a Social Media Marketing & Content Creator Intern to help grow its presence across social channels and turn a visually striking, in-studio experience into scroll-stopping content. This is a hands-on role for someone who lives on social platforms, can shoot and edit short-form video, and wants ownership of real content that reaches a real audience. You will capture the walkable-floor-plan experience in the studio, produce and schedule content, engage the community, and help translate views into booked sessions and franchise interest. The internship suits a current student or recent graduate building a portfolio in social media, content creation, or digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and edit short-form video and photo content (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) that showcases the life-size walkable floor plan experience and client sessions.
• Capture content on-site in the studio during client walkthroughs, including filming, basic direction, and lightweight production.
• Draft copy, captions, and hashtags in a consistent brand voice, and maintain a content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging channels.
• Schedule and publish posts, then track reach, engagement, and follower growth, reporting on what performs and why.
• Engage the community by responding to comments and messages and surfacing user-generated content, testimonials, and reviews.
• Research trends, audio, formats, and competitor and industry content, and pitch fresh ideas tailored to homeowners, architects, builders, and developers.
• Repurpose session recordings, testimonials, and project highlights into multi-platform content, and support franchise-awareness and location-launch campaigns.
• Coordinate with studio and marketing team members to align content with promotions, events, and brand standards.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Current student or recent graduate in marketing, communications, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Active, fluent user of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube with a strong sense of short-form trends and storytelling.
• Hands-on skill filming and editing short-form video on tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere/Rush, Canva, or equivalent, including mobile capture.
• Strong written communication and an eye for visual detail, pacing, and brand consistency.
• Organized and self-directed, able to manage a content calendar and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable being on-site in the studio to capture content; a portfolio, reel, or sample social accounts is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Later, Buffer) and interest in real estate, architecture, construction, or design tech is a plus.
