SxopeHit Recruitment Services is seeking a motivated and student-focused Student Counsellor to guide prospective students through the study abroad admission process. The ideal candidate will provide accurate information about universities, programs, admissions, scholarships, and visa procedures while helping students make informed educational decisions.
Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Counselling
- Counsel prospective students regarding study opportunities in various countries and universities.
- Assess students' academic backgrounds, career goals, and preferences to recommend suitable programs and institutions.
- Provide detailed information about admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, and application procedures.
- Follow up with student inquiries received through social media, websites, events, referrals, and other marketing channels.
- Convert inquiries into applications through effective counselling and relationship building.
- Maintain regular communication with prospective students and parents.
- Assist students in preparing and submitting admission applications.
- Review academic documents to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Coordinate with university representatives and admissions teams regarding application status.
- Guide students regarding visa requirements and document preparation.
- Assist students in completing required forms and collecting supporting documents.
- Ensure all student records and files are maintained accurately.
- Maintain accurate student records in the CRM system.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on leads, applications, enrollments, and conversions.
- Track student progress from inquiry to enrollment.
- Participate in education fairs, seminars, webinars, and promotional events.
- Assist in organizing student recruitment campaigns and information sessions.
- Intermediate degree.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counselling and sales abilities.
- Ability to build trust and maintain professional relationships with students and parents.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages will be an advantage.
- Previous experience in student recruitment, admissions, education consultancy, or customer service is preferred.
- Knowledge of international admissions and visa procedures.
- Strong follow-up and conversion skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet enrollment targets.
