Pakistan Tobacco Company has an exciting opportunity for a Team Lead - SMD in Jhelum, Pakistan

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Schedule and control shift operations effectively to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
• Ensure the manufacturing of high-quality products by meeting/exceeding MQI and FQI targets, improving processes to reduce/eliminate market complaints, and protecting product integrity.
• Manage and aid in all maintenance efforts to keep machines functioning efficiently and decrease periods of inactivity.
• Drive breakthrough results in Process Reliability, Planned and Unplanned Downtime while delivering against the Master Production Schedule.
• Mentor and develop EOs and encourage multiskilling in shift.
• Maintain positive connections with CBA representatives to ensure smooth operations on the floor.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with Company EH&S policies on the shop floor to provide a safe and healthy work environment.
• Encourage shop floor employees to come up with new and different ideas for work to ensure continuous improvement processes.
  
  

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
• 1-2 years of experience in Operations Management.
• Proven initiative, drive, and leadership abilities to lead a team with decision-making and resource management skills.
• Effective interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Outstanding leadership and conflict management skills.
• Working experience with SAP is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of Quality systems, ISO 9001/14001, and SPC.
• Ability to enforce rigor and set outstanding work practices within the team.
• Good knowledge of the ANT System.
