Telecom Field Technicians

Job Summary

XAD Technologies Pakistan is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Telecom Field Technician to support Huawei and Nokia telecom projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for site surveys, microwave (MW) and wireless installations, power-related activities, rollout projects, swap and extension activities, and working at heights to ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of telecom infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Work at Height (WAH) activities on telecom towers and rooftop sites.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments for telecom network deployment projects.
• Install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot Microwave (MW) and Wireless telecom equipment.
• Execute 2G, 3G, 4G, LTE, and 5G site installation and integration activities.
• Perform Swap, Extension, and Rollout activities as per project requirements.
• Carry out power system installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting at telecom sites.
• Ensure proper installation and commissioning of Huawei and Nokia telecom equipment.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, survey reports, and installation records.
• Follow project specifications, technical procedures, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and field teams to ensure timely project completion.
• Adhere to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and Quality Control (QC) standards at all times.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, customer standards, and safety regulations.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience in telecom field operations.
• Proven experience in:
• Work at Height (WAH)
• Microwave (MW)
• Wireless Networks
• Power Systems
• Site Survey Activities
• 2G, 3G, 4G, LTE, and 5G Telecom Sites
• Swap, Extension, and Rollout Projects
  
• Experience working on Huawei and/or Nokia telecom projects is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of telecom site installation, integration, and maintenance procedures.
• Valid Work at Height (WAH) and other relevant telecom certifications are required.
• Knowledge of EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and Quality Control (QC) procedures.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, site documentation, and project requirements.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel and work at various project locations.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in telecom network deployment and maintenance projects.
• Familiarity with Huawei and Nokia equipment configuration and installation standards.
• Additional telecom certifications will be considered an advantage.
