Cinegenic Studios is looking for a skilled and passionate Video Editor who understands how to create engaging content that captures attention, maintains viewer retention, and delivers results for brands.

You'll work on short-form content, Meta Ads, Video Sales Letters (VSLs), and other performance-driven video creatives.

1. Video Editing — CapCut PC/Desktop

• Strong hands-on experience with CapCut on PC or laptop. Mobile-only editing experience is not sufficient.
• Proficiency in auto-captions, masking, keyframing, transitions, sequencing, and pacing.
• Ability to create engaging, fast-paced short-form videos.
• After Effects experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

2. Meta Ads, VSLs & Audience Retention

• Basic understanding of Meta Ads, VSLs, and advertising creatives.
• Ability to recognize effective ads and understand hooks, pacing, visual storytelling, and audience retention.
• Skill in selecting relevant visuals that support the script and keep viewers engaged.

3. Professional Editing Style

• Strong preference for clean, minimal, polished, and professional editing suitable for premium brands.
• Good judgment when using animations, transitions, effects, and motion graphics.
• Avoid excessive glow effects, flashy animations, or gaming-style editing when they don't serve the creative.

4. Online Footage Research & Sourcing

• Ability to research and source relevant footage, stock clips, and visual references online.
• Confidence in finding visuals that match a script's narration and support its message without relying entirely on provided assets.

5. AI Tools & Generative Media

• Experience with AI tools for image and video generation, voiceovers, and creative production is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with Google Flow, Runway, Midjourney, ElevenLabs, or similar tools is beneficial.
• AI expertise is not mandatory. Candidates with strong editing fundamentals can apply, and training will be provided where needed.

• CapCut PC/Desktop experience is mandatory. Candidates with mobile-only editing experience will not be considered.

Salary will depend on experience, editing quality, technical skills, and overall capabilities. Candidates with advanced creative skills, strong AI expertise, and the ability to independently handle complex editing tasks may qualify for higher compensation.
