Accounting Specialist

Position: Accounting Specialist
Location: Lahore

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The Accountant will collaborate closely with Financial Managers and team members to execute key accounting tasks, particularly focusing on monthly closing activities. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in revenue accrual, cost of sales recording, and ledger account management to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Financial Managers and other team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks, especially monthly closing activities.

• Initiate and manage the Revenue Accrual Recording Process during monthly closing, meeting targeted deadlines.

• Record and maintain the monthly Cost of Sales in D365 Accounting Software within the defined timelines.

• Maintain related ledger accounts by timely recording of financial transactions in GL, AR, and AP modules as required.

• Prepare inter-company reconciliations with other group companies after monthly closing to identify and rectify discrepancies, ensuring balances are reconciled.

• Identify discrepancies in related ledgers and accounts, track them to their source, and correct them.

• Create and present reports for management and team members as required.

• Perform any special tasks or assignments given by management.

  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of proven experience in accounting, particularly in monthly closings and ledger maintenance.

• Proficiency in D365 Accounting Software or similar ERP systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and management.

• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial reporting tools.
