AI Engineer Automation & Workflow Orchestration

We are seeking an AI Engineer with deep expertise in workflow automation tools (n8n, Make, Zapier) and strong foundations in AI/ML integration. Your core responsibility will be to design, build, and maintain AI-powered automated workflows that streamline internal operations, reduce manual effort, and ensure scalable system interactions across the organization.

The ideal candidate can link AI models, APIs, and business systems into end-to-end, self-operating workflows that improve decision-making and team efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automation workflows using n8n, Make, and Zapier.
• Integrate AI/ML models and APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Hugging Face, custom models) into real-time automated systems.
• Connect data sources, CRMs, dashboards, cloud storage, Slack, email, and internal tools into cohesive workflows.
• Automate tasks such as data ingestion, preprocessing, enrichment, notifications, triggers, and business logic.
• Develop custom API connectors when existing modules do not exist.
• Deploy and manage lightweight AI scripts and orchestrate actions via automation platforms.
• Implement workflow monitoring, error handling, logging, and version control.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to convert model insights into operational automations.
• Continuously identify process inefficiencies and deploy scalable automation solutions.
  
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field.
• 23+ years of hands-on experience in automation, AI integration, or workflow engineering.
• Proven experience with n8n, Make (Integromat), or Zapier.
• Strong proficiency in Python, including writing custom API integrations.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, OAuth2, webhooks, and JSON-based data structures.
• Familiarity with deploying or integrating AI/ML models via APIs.
• Experience with Google Cloud, AWS, or similar environments.
• Strong debugging, analytical thinking, and workflow troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of data pipelines, version control (Git), and automation logic.

• Experience building or integrating AI agents, chatbot workflows, or RAG-based systems.
• Exposure to Docker, serverless environments, or self-hosted n8n setups.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of event-driven systems and scalable automation design.
• Experience in business process automation (BPA) or integration engineering.
