Job Title: Assistant Vice President (AVP) - Internal IT
The Assistant Vice President (AVP) - Internal IT at Systems Ltd leads the strategic management of enterprise IT projects and operations. This role ensures alignment between IT strategies and business objectives while driving operational excellence and fostering innovation to support organizational growth and success.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Plan, execute, and deliver enterprise IT projects within defined scope, timelines, and budget.
- Develop comprehensive project charters, schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define objectives, and maintain seamless communication.
- Allocate resources across multiple projects, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
- Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and resolve issues to ensure project continuity.
- Establish and enforce project management standards, methodologies, and best practices.
IT Operations:
- Oversee the optimization and maintenance of internal IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
- Monitor IT systems, addressing incidents promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts for IT services, hardware, and software.
- Ensure adherence to IT governance, compliance standards, and cybersecurity protocols.
- Lead and mentor IT teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 15 years of experience in IT, including 5+ years in leadership roles focused on project management and IT operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification., ITIL certification is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of enterprise IT systems, infrastructure, cloud technologies, and IT service management (ITSM) tools.
Proven expertise in delivering complex IT projects and managing operational excellence.
Strategic thinking with the ability to align IT initiatives with business goals.
Analytical problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Experience with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and automation tools.
Familiarity with enterprise IT systems, infrastructure, cloud technologies, and IT service management (ITSM) tools.
Familiarity with enterprise architecture and digital transformation initiatives.
