We are looking for a motivated Biomedical Engineer or Surgical Technician to support medical and surgical equipment operations. The role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-site technical support, with flexibility in working hours and travel for training purposes.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot biomedical and surgical equipment
- Provide technical support during surgical procedures when required
- Perform preventive maintenance and ensure equipment safety and reliability
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and hospital staff for equipment support
- Maintain service reports, maintenance logs, and documentation
- Support equipment demonstrations and training sessions
- Liaise with vendors and attend technical training programs
- Degree or diploma in Biomedical Engineering or Surgical Technology (or relevant field)
- Must be able to ride a scooty for field visits and on-site support
- Must be flexible with working hours, including emergency or after-hours support
- Must be willing and able to travel internationally for training purposes
- Valid driving license is preferred
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to work under pressure in clinical and surgical environments
- Willingness to learn new technologies and systems
- 2 to 3 years of experience is required.
