Pakistan’s Beauty and Wellbeing is a €225m business and commands the market leadership position in Hair Care. It operates with multiple strong brands including Dove, Sunsilk, Clear, GAL, Ponds, TRESemmé and Lifebuoy, four of which are power brands for Unilever globally. The business today is supported by one of the most technologically advanced and efficient B&W flagship B&W factories in the PTAB region. With its large consumer base and strong market position, B&W Pakistan is the 2nd biggest market in PTAB region and holds clear strategic importance for the region.

Job Purpose

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following key areas:

The Demand Creation Lead for Lifebuoy and Clear is a key strategic role within the Marketing Team, responsible for driving consumer demand and delivering business growth across Pakistan’s Beauty & Wellbeing (B&W) portfolio. This role leads the development and execution of brand strategy, communication, and engagement plans that build brand equity and deepen consumer connection.

As the marketing lead for demand creation, this role translates business objectives into actionable plans, drives multi-year innovation, and champions a digital-first, social-first approach to brand building. It requires close collaboration across marketing, media, insights, and cross-functional teams to ensure integrated execution and shared success.

With Lifebuoy being the largest B&W brand in Pakistan, the role also includes leading brand crafting and mix development to maintain its market leadership and cultural relevance.

What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following key areas:

  • Translate the Business Unit's strategic vision into comprehensive Brand Marketing Plans specifically tailored for the market, acting as the guardian of these plans and ensuring their effective implementation to deliver growth across channels.
  • Oversee all Demand Creation activities for Lifebuoy & Clear portfolio in Pakistan, encompassing advertising campaigns, consumer engagement initiatives, Direct-to-Consumer strategies, and the execution of global and local brand innovations.
  • Drive consumer insights generation, data analytics, content development, strategic partnerships, and the planning and execution of in-market experiential events across Lifebuoy & Clear portfolio.
  • Build and enhance capabilities within the market in social-first marketing and the evolving media landscape. Act as a driving force and guardian for the quality and consistency of execution across all channels.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop impactful brand assets, create compelling content, and amplify brand messaging across digital and retail platforms in the market.
  • Lead the Digital Marketing agenda, provide stewardship to plan and deliver seamless, engaging digital consumer experiences and campaigns.

Experiences & Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • At least 8 years of overall experience; of which 2 years of Brand Manager experience is required. Candidates with relevant category experience will be preferred.
  • Strong emphasis on social first demand generation, brand building and digital marketing within the category.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing integrated marketing plans that align with business objectives, drive consumer demand, and deliver measurable results.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, tactics, and best practices, including social media marketing, influencer marketing, content marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and paid advertising.
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high performing marketing teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams, including customer development, product development, finance, and creative agencies, to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing marketing budgets, tracking ROI, and optimizing campaign spending.
  • A demonstrated commitment to B&W’s core values and mission.
  • Passion and understanding of the external environment and impact this has on brands and consumer experience.
