Job Summary:
The Instream Ads Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing video advertising campaigns on platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and other social media channels. This role focuses on maximizing ad revenue, improving campaign performance, and ensuring seamless integration of ads within video content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Management:
- Plan, implement, and monitor instream ad campaigns across various platforms.
- Optimize ad placements to enhance user engagement and ad viewability.
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure seamless ad integration that aligns with video content.
- Performance Analysis:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as click-through rates (CTR), cost per click (CPC), and revenue per mille (RPM).
- Generate detailed reports on campaign performance and recommend improvements.
- Conduct A/B testing to refine ad formats and placements.
- Revenue Optimization:
- Develop strategies to maximize ad revenue while maintaining a positive user experience.
- Stay updated on platform monetization policies and trends to identify new opportunities.
- Negotiate ad rates and work with partners to optimize monetization strategies.
- Platform Expertise:
- Maintain a deep understanding of social media ad platforms and their features.
- Ensure compliance with platform guidelines and advertising standards.
- Leverage analytics tools to make data-driven decisions.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with marketing, content, and creative teams to align ad campaigns with brand objectives.
- Maintain clear communication with ad partners and stakeholders to manage expectations and deliverables.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing social media ad campaigns, specifically instream ads.
- Proficiency in ad management tools like Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, and YouTube Studio.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of ad policies and best practices for major platforms.
