Job Summary:
STARZPLAY, a leading OTT streaming platform for Live Sports and Entertainment across the MENA region, is looking for a highly creative and technically skilled Interactive Video Editor to join our Creative Marketing team. This role is ideal for a video editor who thrives on storytelling through immersive and interactive formats, with a strong understanding of audience engagement across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and deliver high-impact interactive video content (e.g., choose-your-own-path videos, clickable overlays, dynamic calls-to-action) for promotional campaigns, trailers, social media, app banners, and platform engagement.
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, content, and sports teams to craft compelling narratives around original shows, movies, and live sports events.
- Align closely with the Creative Manager/Head to ensure all content meets strategic objectives, creative direction, and campaign goals.
- Ensure all interactive content aligns with the platform’s brand identity, creative guidelines, and performance benchmarks.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in OTT, sports marketing, interactivity, and user experience to push the boundaries of storytelling.
- Work within tight timelines to deliver assets across various formats and screen dimensions, ensuring platform optimization.
- Organize, archive, and maintain video projects and templates in a structured workflow system.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in video editing, with a focus on interactive and digital-first content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop); knowledge of tools like Wirewax, Eko, or similar interactive video software is a plus.
- Strong portfolio showcasing work on entertainment and/or live sports campaigns.
- Creative storytelling skills with a strong eye for pacing, transitions, and dynamic visuals.
- Understanding of audience behavior across OTT platforms, YouTube, social media, and mobile formats.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, content-rich environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Bonus: Experience with motion graphics, animation, or gamified video formats.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in film/media production, Design, Multimedia Arts, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in video editing with a focus on interactive and digital-first formats.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating interactive video storytelling, preferably for entertainment and/or sports content.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop), Final Cut Pro; familiarity with interactive video platforms like Wirewax, Eko, or similar tools is a major plus.
- Strong understanding of OTT content behavior, digital storytelling, and engagement mechanics.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
