Job Title: IT Expert (Short-Term Consultant)

Location: Lahore (Primarily Remote, with Occasional On-Site Meetings)

Contract Duration: Up to 3 months (Max 40 workdays, staggered)

We are seeking a highly experienced IT Expert for a short-term consulting role. This position will involve a total of 40 workdays over a period of up to 3 months. The consultant will be responsible for developing IT policies and procedures tailored to the needs of an endowment fund, as well as designing an enterprise architecture to digitize the fund’s operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in IT project management, policy development, and solution architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop IT Policies & Procedures: Create a comprehensive IT Policy and Procedure Manual that addresses technology infrastructure, software guidelines, and operational procedures, all aligned with the regulatory requirements and objectives of the endowment fund.
• Design Enterprise Architecture: Develop an enterprise/solution architecture to digitize the Fund’s operations, ensuring transparency and alignment with the Fund’s goals and regulatory frameworks.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure IT solutions meet business needs and regulatory standards.
• Deliverables Submission: Prepare and submit deliverables electronically, ensuring they meet all project requirements and deadlines.
• Feedback Incorporation: Participate in remote meetings to discuss deliverables, gather feedback, and incorporate internal and client-end revisions.
• Occasional On-Site Visits: Conduct on-site visits to the client’s office in Lahore as needed for discussions and meetings.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 15 years of relevant IT experience, with a minimum of 7 years in IT project management and solution design.
• Proven track record of implementing at least 4 enterprise-grade IT projects, including 3 projects focused on developing IT Policies & Procedures for government or donor-funded initiatives.

Work Setup:

• The majority of the work will be conducted remotely, with flexibility for virtual meetings and feedback sessions.
• Occasional on-site visits to the client’s office in Lahore will be required for key discussions and meetings.
