Jr UI/UX Designer

Role Description:

We are seeking a full-time UI/UX designer for our Lahore office. The UI/UX designer will be responsible for designing and developing user-centered interfaces for our web-based products and services, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure user experience consistency across all company communications and platforms.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct user research to understand the needs, goals, and pain points of our target audience. Use this research to inform design decisions.
2. Create user personas and user journey maps to visualize and communicate user needs and behaviors.
3. Develop wireframes, low-fidelity mockups, and prototypes to illustrate the layout and structure of the digital product.
4. Design visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces, considering color schemes, typography, iconography, and overall aesthetics.
5. Create high-fidelity interactive prototypes that demonstrate the user flow and functionality of the product.
6. Conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback from users and iterate on designs based on their input.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure designs are feasible and align with project goals.
8. Establish and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure design consistency and scalability across various platforms.
9. Ensure that designs comply with accessibility standards and are usable by individuals with disabilities.
10. Stay up to date with industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to continually improve and innovate in the field of UI/UX design.

Qualifications:

1. 3+ years of experience creating and implementing designs for digital products, including web and mobile applications
2. Demonstrated expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, and other design tools
3. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, identify opportunities, and design, test, and iterate on user-centered solutions
4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts, principles, and benefits to non-design audiences
5. Experience with HTML/CSS and responsive design is a plus
6. Experience with Agile methodologies and design sprints is a plus
7. Bachelor's degree or higher in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field
8. A portfolio of work that demonstrates design solutions relevant to web-based products and services is required.
