Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in solar design or a related field, with a proven track record of successful project completion.
- Strong proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software for solar system layouts and engineering drawings.
- Experience with simulation tools for energy production and performance modeling.
- In-depth knowledge of solar photovoltaic (PV) technologies and components.
- Familiarity with local and national building codes and regulations related to solar installations.
- Ability to specify and select appropriate solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, and other components based on project requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and regulatory authorities.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and address challenges in the design and implementation of solar projects.
- Proficiency in analyzing data, performing technical calculations, and troubleshooting issues.
- Attention to detail in creating accurate designs and ensuring compliance with standards.
