Manage overall HVAC & Workshop services maintenance at Bin Qasim Power Complex

Education

Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering

Knowledge

Maintenance of HVAC System at Bin Qasim Power Complex

Monitoring & implementing Preventive maintenance day to day job planning & execution

Monitoring and implementing corrective maintenance job planning & execution.

Monitoring workshop (Machine shop, Welding / fabrication shop, Rigger shop, Scaffolding) activities in providing services to concerned dept.

Provide different Civil related services like Shades and structures as per requirement.

Manage budget activities of HVAC & W/Shop services. Spares procurement & consumption handling.

Experience

Minimum of 7 to 9 years experience in HVAC & Workshop services section at a Power plant.

Area Of Responsibilities

Health, Safety & Environment: (20 %)

• Ensures contractor safety compliance during project execution. (KE SOP SP022)
• Arranges safety related training for Contractor team
• Safety and environment Risk analysis and its mitigation before execution of projects
  
  

Functional: (60%)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and energy efficiency.
• Manage and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance and training to ensure that all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities, including routine inspections, repairs, and replacements of HVAC equipment and components.
• Develop and manage budgets for maintenance, repairs, and capital projects related to HVAC systems.
  
  

HVAC System Maintenance

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for HVAC systems, including routine inspections, cleaning, and replacement of filters and other components.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC system faults, including electrical, mechanical, and control system issues.
• Manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of new HVAC equipment and systems.
• Ensure that all HVAC systems are properly balanced, tested, and adjusted to optimize performance and energy efficiency.
  
  

Workshop And Servicing System

• Manage the maintenance workshop, ensuring that it is well-organized, safe, and equipped with the necessary tools and equipment.
• Develop and implement a system for tracking and managing maintenance requests, including prioritization and scheduling of work.
• Develop and manage a system for managing spare parts and materials, including inventory control and procurement.

Administrative: (10 %)

• Administering 3P personnel of section in accordance with instructions and directives of the management, rules and regulations in practice.
• Maintain punctuality, discipline and confidence among the team members and ensure observance of the safety rules.
• Extend support, guidance and training to subordinates for technical and administrative development in achieving their annual objectives.
• Participates as an active team member for internal and external audits.
  
  

Training (10 %)

• Train subordinates to enhance their technical skills on filed instrumentation and control systems.
• Deliver plant wide training as part of training need assistance program.
