Job Purpose
To support the Marketing and Corporate Communications strategic plans and initiatives across Fly Jinnah by positively reflecting/maintaining the company’s corporate image in terms Public Relations; this shall include: branding, media and press relations, Investor Relations, and other forms of communication thereby leading to enhancing Company’s reputation, customer’s experience, and increasing sales.
Key Result Responsibilities
To support the Marketing and Corporate Communications strategic plans and initiatives across Fly Jinnah by positively reflecting/maintaining the company’s corporate image in terms Public Relations; this shall include: branding, media and press relations, Investor Relations, and other forms of communication thereby leading to enhancing Company’s reputation, customer’s experience, and increasing sales.
Key Result Responsibilities
- Works as a primary contact between marketing team and external suppliers to source for marketing production and required material such as printing press, digital printing, giveaways, banners, display stands, etc.
- Acts as point of contact for press, media, and PR agencies, influencers and agents; manages the company’s press centre including press kits, press releases, fact sheets, news monitoring, crisis management responses, prints, and publicizing events via media; builds and maintains an updated media contact list.
- Identifies suppliers, negotiates prices and SLAs (Service Level Agreements) to out-source services with competitive rates and quality based on identified needs.
- Supports the marketing plans and campaigns. Coordinates between marketing & CC team, Hubs/Outstation, E-commerce, suppliers and partner organizations thru confirming marketing requirements, and campaigns briefs received from Commercial Managers in terms of budget, quality; and design.
- Manages the system in terms of work-flow thru prioritizing and delegating work to the creative and Studio team.
- Liaises with the creative team on agreed artwork to approve and facilitate timely production ensuring conformity with approved standards in terms of quality, quantity, delivery, distribution, display and publishing.
- Checks, audits and verifies design and art work versus briefs, plans and budgets ensuring all are in line with Company’s branding and corporate image standards.
- Assists in preparing budgets for ATL/BTL marketing expenditure for all and submits to Finance division.
- Initiates LPOs (Local Purchase Orders) for marketing requirements, verifies and approves invoices and payments to suppliers; generates monthly marketing expenditure reports in coordination with sales and Manager Network.
- Provides technical support to marketing team on the conformity with set measures and specifications of marketing material in line with company’s branding and corporate image standards.
- Manages researches and market intelligence data; generates job-related reports and correspondence regularly, co-designs templates and forms to be used by the team and other hubs for marketing-related requirements and projects.
- Coordinates with Fly Jinnah Sales Shops and agencies with respect to branding, display, printing, give-away items, calendars, flyers, banners, etc. to ensure
- consistency with standards.
- Supervises all events, inaugural functions, conferences, seminars, workshops, etc. in terms of production requirements, display and branding.
- Supports Marketing Team locally and regionally in training on new marketing initiatives, systems, processes, or tools as needed.
- Manages the store and supply of all advertising and marketing material to ensure accurate inventory and database are maintained.
- Performs any additional duties as directed by the line manager.
- Bachelor degree in Marketing/ Communication or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop &3D animation is a plus.
- Fluent in English and Urdu.
- 3+ years of related working experience in a very similar role in the marketing field in any service industry (client/agency), preferably in aviation; experience with low cost airline is a plus.
- Proven skills in media relations, press, events management, and communicating branding concepts and themes that increase market-share.
- Advanced Project management skills combined with Budgeting Experience.
- Possesses editorial and business writing skills.
- Knowledge in protocol/regulations related to marketing and communication.
- Employs a balance of technical expertise, and interpersonal relations to execute new initiatives that support company’s objectives.
- Product knowledge: capability of understanding market trends and channeling them leading to effective marketing and advertising plans and campaigns.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against business strategy and set KPIs.
