British American Tobacco has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Planning Executive in Pakistan.
Are you passionate about driving business decisions with data-driven insights and performance analysis? We’re seeking an innovative and analytical professional to play a pivotal role in delivering impactful insights and performance tracking for our region. Collaborating with diverse teams across clusters, you will craft strategies that resonate across marketing, finance, and supply chain functions. This position offers minimal travel and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and inclusive environment that values collaboration, innovation, and personal growth.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Deliver timely, accurate reports on market performance, including share, volume, and industry metrics.
- Develop comprehensive tools and models to analyze market trends and performance data effectively.
- Collaborate with cluster planning teams to provide quality inputs for industry and volume forecasting during monthly IBPM processes.
- Review volume scenarios and building blocks for NPI initiatives and market-specific plans, aligning with service agreements.
- Manage monthly MOPE changes and derive actionable insights for key forums and stakeholders.
- Support DRBU with R2 analysis and consolidate narratives across various clusters for strategic insights.
- Assist in delivering one-off strategic meetings, including category submissions and industry outlooks.
- Facilitate collaboration and information exchange between clusters and the DRBU to ensure seamless communication.
What are we looking for?
- 3-4 years in marketing planning, insights, or related roles, with demonstrated success in data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrate business planning acumen and the ability to translate business needs into data-driven requirements.
- Exhibit proficiency in building forecasting and tracking models tailored to business demands.
- Deep understanding of key financial metrics, including revenue and profit, to drive impactful analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with knowledge of SAP considered a plus.
- Prove the ability to manage multiple projects across diverse teams and departments.
- Skilled in forecasting techniques, competitor analysis, and marketing planning processes.
- A degree or equivalent experience in Business Analytics, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field, with a strong dedication to continuous learning.
