Position: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Location: LHR / KHI / ISB / FSD / Multan

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services, including compute, networking, storage, databases, and load balancing.
• Optimize and monitor OCI resources for high performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve OCI infrastructure issues to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
• Implement security best practices for OCI services, including Identity and Access Management (IAM) and compliance standards.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Oracle DevOps.
• Automate builds, tests, and deployments, ensuring a seamless software development lifecycle.
• Integrate OCI and Red Hat OpenShift with CI/CD tools for automated deployments and monitoring.
• Design, deploy, and manage Red Hat OpenShift clusters on OCI or on-premises for optimal performance and availability.
• Manage containerized workloads and microservices using Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Implement best practices for scaling, fault tolerance, and security in OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure and OpenShift clusters for performance, resource utilization, and cost.
• Propose and implement strategies for performance tuning, load balancing, and scaling.
• Automate resource provisioning, scaling, and management using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Develop scripts for routine tasks such as backups, patching, and health checks.
• Implement security controls for cloud infrastructure, OpenShift clusters, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage container security, including vulnerability scanning and securing credentials.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of tools and workflows.
• Document infrastructure configurations, CI/CD processes, and troubleshooting guides.
• Support the deployment of Temenos Banking Applications on OCI and OpenShift.
• Optimize Temenos application configurations for cloud-native deployment.

Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Strong background in Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and containerized application management.
• Proven experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certification (e.g., Oracle Cloud Architect Associate or Professional).
• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration or equivalent (preferred).
• Additional certifications in DevOps, CI/CD, or Kubernetes are a plus.
• Expertise in OCI services, Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Oracle Autonomous Database and multi-cloud strategies (preferred).
• Knowledge of serverless architectures and cloud cost optimization techniques (preferred).
