Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Management:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or issues.
  • Proactively manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and external vendors.
  • Manage expectations and address stakeholder concerns effectively.
  • Facilitate regular communication and updates on project progress.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct quality reviews and audits to identify and address defects.
  • Implement quality assurance processes and tools.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify and assess project risks.
  • Develop mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of potential risks.
  • Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Change Management:
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, or budget effectively.
  • Communicate changes to stakeholders and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Implement change management processes to minimize disruptions.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare regular project status reports and metrics.
  • Analyze project performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to project stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software project management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex software development projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Trello).
