Team Summary
The Recruitment, Selection, and Matriculation (RSM) team is responsible for identifying and cultivating exceptional talent for Teach For Pakistan’s Fellowship program. With a nationwide reach, the team actively recruits across various cities in Pakistan, partnering with universities, organizations, and professional networks to discover and engage top leadership potential. The Recruitment team connects with over 2,500 individuals annually, running dynamic campaigns, forging meaningful relationships, and shaping conversations about leadership and education. Their work extends far beyond recruitment—they inspire young leaders and professionals, deepening their understanding of educational challenges across Pakistan and motivating them to take bold action through the Fellowship.
Position Summary
The Recruitment, Selection, and Matriculation (RSM) team plays a critical role in attracting, recruiting, and selecting top talent for Teach For Pakistan's Fellowship program—a two-year, full-time initiative aimed at developing future leaders who will teach in under-resourced schools and communities to drive systemic change.
We are seeking a high-performing, self-driven individual to manage and execute effective recruitment strategies, ensuring a strong pipeline of high-quality applicants. This role requires the ability to thrive in a high-stakes, target-oriented environment while collaborating with the RSM team to collectively achieve recruitment goals.
Focusing on both strategic planning and execution, this role requires a candidate capable of developing impactful marketing strategies while also demonstrating a keen ability to shortlist candidates using Teach For Pakistan’s competency-based selection model
Primary Responsibilities
1. Fellow Recruitment (80% of the Job Responsibility)
Responsible for developing and executing individual university strategies to attract and recruit top talent for the Fellowship program, particularly targeting fresh graduates and young professionals.
University Partnerships & Outreach
- Establish and manage partnerships with higher education institutions and relevant organizations.
- Develop individual university strategies to identify top talent, engage them, and inspire interest in the Fellowship.
- Plan and execute recruitment events, including information sessions, career fairs, and university recruitment drives.
Campaign Management
- Lead an ambitious recruitment campaign to attract diverse and talented candidates.
- Cultivate and manage a network of Campus Leaders and Volunteers to support outreach efforts.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance visibility through social media and other platforms.
- Take the lead on on-campus marketing and promotional efforts.
Data Analysis & Systems Management
- Maintain and manage a database of prospective applicants.
- Continuously track and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
- Utilize Teach For Pakistan’s constituent relationship management system (Salesforce) to manage outreach and monitor campaign progress.
- Think creatively to solve challenges and optimize recruitment efforts.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to evolving priorities and challenges.
2. Fellow Selection & Matriculation (20% of the Job Responsibility)
Responsible for supporting the selection and matriculation processes to ensure the seamless transition of applicants into the Fellowship.
Selection Process
Participate as a selector in three key stages of the selection process:
- First Review
- Assessment Center
- Fellowship Interviews
Support the Selection Lead in finalizing decisions for all three stages of the process.
Matriculation Process
Matriculation is the process of guiding a candidate through their journey from receiving an offer to arriving at the Training Institute.
- Support the transition of accepted Fellows from offer acceptance to arrival at the Training Institute.
- Understand candidates’ interests and potential barriers to joining, and provide guidance accordingly.
- Build candidates’ inspiration and readiness for the program through structured engagement.
- Work collaboratively to design and execute matriculation activities for both recruitment cycles.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree with a strong academic track record in any subject.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a role demonstrating exceptional mobilization and activation skills.
- Preferred Experience: Prior experience working with youth engagement, communications, or brand management. Experience in recruitment, marketing, or outreach roles is a plus.
