Overview:

The Senior BD Manager is a high-level strategic role requiring significant experience in closing

high-value deals, managing teams, setting direction, and driving measurable growth. This

individual must own the process from vision to execution while also leading communication

with top-level executives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Own the full sales cycle and acquire high-ticket clients through Upwork, LinkedIn, and

direct outreach.

2. Communicate with CEOs, CTOs, founders, and high-tier decision-makers in a confident and

consultative manner.

3. Lead strategic planning for business development goals, including forecasting and team

targets.

4. Create custom strategies for client acquisition, pricing, and positioning and ensure their

implementation.

5. Mentor mid and junior team members, track their KPIs, and hold them accountable for

performance.

6. Deliver training sessions, sales playbooks, and process improvements to enhance team

efficiency.

7. Regularly review sales data and generate insight reports to guide future decisions.

8. Lead high-level negotiations, proposal finalization, and onboarding processes for large

accounts.

9. Represent the company in industry events, networking forums, and partnership

discussions.

Requirements:

1. (3-6)+ years of proven success with strong, documented deal closures (including deal

size/impact).

2. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related IT field is preferred, as it helps in

understanding technical domains and effectively communicating with clients in the tech

industry.

3. Leadership experience in managing and training business development teams.

4. Excellent English communication (US-accented), especially with C-level professionals.

5. Deep understanding of Upwork, LinkedIn, and B2B client behavior.

6. Proactive in setting up BD systems, strategy blueprints, and revenue pipelines.

7. Strategic thinker with high accountability for results, implementation, and team growth.
