Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Business Operations Lead to support the sales department by optimizing processes, enhancing communication, and driving operational efficiency to ensure the team’s success. This role requires a self-starter who can handle various operational tasks independently, including CRM management, stakeholder collaboration, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a passion for improving business operations, along with a proven background in sales operations and a track record of enhancing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Operations Management:
- Oversee and streamline the sales process, including lead generation, opportunity tracking, and sales forecasting.
- Manage CRM systems to ensure data accuracy, reporting efficiency, and optimal user adoption.
- Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing sales materials, and coordinating internal and external communication.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance sales productivity and operational effectiveness.
- Monitor and track the tasks and performance of the internal sales team to ensure accountability and progress toward goals.
- Implement tools and processes for effective task management and reporting.
- Handle day-to-day operational tasks, ensuring alignment with sales goals and company objectives.
- Support the onboarding process for new sales team members by providing training on tools, processes, and best practices.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze sales data and operational metrics to drive informed decision-making and improve performance.
- Prepare and present reports on sales activities and outcomes to senior management.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as a liaison between sales, marketing, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment on goals and priorities.
- Engage with external partners and stakeholders as needed to support business operations.
- Strategic Support:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align business operations with overall company strategy and sales initiatives.
- Support the development and execution of long-term operational strategies.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in business operations, sales operations, or a related field, with a proven ability to enhance operational performance.
- Previous experience in a role requiring independent management of operations is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in CRM systems and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, BI tools).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies and operational frameworks.
