Senior DevOps Engineer, Trilogy (Remote) - $100,000/year USD

Date: 5 hours ago
City: Lahore
Contract type: Full time
Remote
You're the type of DevOps engineer who proactively prevents outages rather than simply responding to them. If you find satisfaction in dissecting complex legacy infrastructure, architecting more efficient solutions, and automating every repetitive workflow you come across, this opportunity is for you. We need a DevOps and AWS infrastructure specialist who excels in high-pressure environments where 99.9% uptime is the baseline expectation. Your work will span a portfolio of acquired products, each with unique characteristics, as you migrate them into a unified, scalable AWS environment while implementing monitoring and automation that truly minimizes incidents.
Most organizations ask you to maintain one technology stack. We're asking you to consolidate and refine multiple stacks without causing disruptions. Where other companies isolate databases, our approach is different—we strategically consolidate them to maximize cost efficiency and management effectiveness across our product portfolio. This position isn't suited for someone content with maintaining the status quo; it's designed for someone who encounters a fragmented, inconsistent environment and immediately envisions a superior architecture.
Your ownership will extend from infrastructure migrations through AI-powered automation, performance optimization, database migration, and cost management. This encompasses troubleshooting and resolving existing issues, designing and executing smooth cloud migrations with minimal downtime, and leveraging AI/ML-powered workflows to automate significant portions of your workload. You'll have genuine decision-making authority over infrastructure choices—no delays waiting for approvals from stakeholders who lack technical depth.
If you're a self-directed problem-solver who excels at unraveling complex systems and ensuring flawless operation, this role will engage you fully. If you require constant guidance, become overwhelmed managing multiple technology stacks, or prefer greenfield projects over establishing order from complexity, this won't be the right fit. If you're prepared to assume ownership of a high-impact infrastructure position with opportunities to build, optimize, and automate at scale, submit your application now!
What You Will Be Doing

What You Will Be Doing
- Designing and executing complex infrastructure transformations, including migrations from legacy environments to AWS cloud platforms and lift-and-shift operations
- Creating and deploying monitoring strategies and developing automations for monitoring systems, software deployment pipelines, and operational processes
- Conducting system monitoring, managing system backups, responding to incidents, executing database migrations, configuring databases, and optimizing costs
