Senior Medical Officer (Day Care Dialysis), Clifton Medical Services

Responsibilities

• perform patient’s initial evaluation, investigation, and management to maintain consistent high clinical quality and service standards for dialysis patient
• Obtain Consent for dialysis
• Assess and monitor patient before and during dialysis
• Document dialysis orders in accordance with consultants’ advice.
• Display effective and relevant documentation with quality record keeping of clinical notes, progress notes and discharge summaries as indicated.
• Participate in outpatient clinics and patient management under supervision
• Able to manage complications and code blue in day care dialysis unit
• Actively participate in journal clubs and continuous medical education

Requirements

• an MBBS degree, and additional diploma, MCPS, FCPS-I or MRCP-I
• a valid license from Pakistan Medical Council (PMC) and BLS certificate
• at least two to three years of relevant experience
• ability to effectively work independently as well as in teams
• ability to work under pressure on different rotations/shifts
• strong interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills.
