As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through both manual and automated testing. You will work closely with our development team to identify and report bugs, create test cases, and execute test plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing for mobile and web testing.
- Identify and report bugs and errors to the development team
- Work closely with the development team to understand the project and its features
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and functionality of the product
- Participate in code reviews to identify potential issues and provide feedback
- Continuously improve and optimize the testing process
- Communicate testing progress and results to the project team and stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing, with a strong background in both manual and automated testing
- Proficient in testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, cypress, postman or TestComplete
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and testing processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and report bugs and errors
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
