What is Stream Head Corporate Accounting?

Stream head corporate accounting is responsible for managing end-to-end financial close, statutory and group reporting, technical accounting, and audit coordination. The role ensures compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements while partnering closely with business and corporate functions to support accurate financial reporting and governance.

What does Stream Head Corporate Accounting do?

• Lead monthly financial close and reporting process while ensuring completeness, accuracy, and integrity of financial statements
• Drive accurate and timely accounting across business units and entities/ subsidiaries; ensure accurate and timely financial reporting per IFRS and adherence to standard/ local accounting practices.
• Monitor and review processes pertaining to monthly financial close, AP, fixed assets, cash management, etc. for achievement of defined KPIs; Identify opportunities for process automation and re-engineering.
• Work closely with the Service Operations teams.
• Work with cross functional stakeholders for input on complex accounting issues and forming an opinion on the accounting treatments under applicable IFRS.
• Develop partnership with the business teams.
• Mange accurate and timely group / statutory financial reporting and manage external audits.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ICAEW).
• 10+ years of finance operations experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, IFRS, internal controls, and ERP system.
• Demonstrated leadership, team management and interpersonal skills.
• Must be business acumen.
