Position Summary

The Digital Financial Services (DFS) stream at Karandaaz is seeking a Short-Term Technical Assistant (STTA) for its WFI team who can provide support with multiple ongoing projects and assignments.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide support with the operationalization of Financial Inclusion for Women Challenge (FIWC).
• Conduct research on the areas of opportunity for projects centered around the cause of financial inclusion for women in Pakistan
• Support the team in the execution and monitoring of the BISP Digital Financial Literacy Program
• Support the team with completion of all ongoing projects and interventions before the end of our fiscal year in June 2025
• Successfully support in managing adhoc requirements from the management, Board and sponsors.

Eligibility

Education & Experience

• A Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management, or related field.
• 0-1 years of work experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of digital financial services and an appetite to learn more
• Basic understanding of challenges surrounding women in Pakistan with respect to financial inclusion and access to finance
• Excellent skills in secondary research and the ability to contextualize qualitative data with the problem at hand
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong communication skills
