We are seeking a technically sound and client-focused Technical Project Manager to act as a Technical Account Manager and lead tool migration projects for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of telephony systems, network infrastructure, and project delivery frameworks. This role requires hands-on involvement in planning, execution, and client coordination to ensure a seamless transition and implementation of tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical liaison between clients and internal teams (Telephony, Network, Security, Development)
  • Understand client infrastructure and requirements to design tailored tool migration strategies
  • Lead and manage tool migration projects end-to-end from scoping to go-live support
  • Plan and manage timelines using tools like Microsoft Project or Smartsheet
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of processes, technical designs, and deliverables
  • Maintain smooth, proactive communication with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Track project issues and risks, ensuring timely resolutions and escalations
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with technical and operational standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 4–5 years of experience in client-facing technical project roles, with at least 2 years in tool migration or systems integration
  • Strong understanding of telephony (VoIP, SIP, ACDs) and networking (LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls)
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools, CRM, or WFM platforms is a plus
  • Skilled in project planning, documentation, and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, or Confluence
  • PMP or ITIL certification is a plus

Other Requirements

  • Must be available to work in Eastern Time Zone (or align working hours accordingly)
