The Role

We’re looking for a creative, trend savvy Video Editor to produce engaging short-form content that resonates with global audiences — particularly in the US & Canadian markets.

What You’ll Do

• Transform raw footage into high-quality, story-driven videos for Reels, TikTok, Shorts & YouTube.
• Apply modern editing styles: seamless transitions, dynamic pacing, motion graphics, and global editing trends.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to bring brand concepts to life.
• Optimize videos for different social media platforms (hooks, captions, pacing, aspect ratios).
• Maintain consistency with tossdown’s premium brand identity while experimenting with trend-led formats.
• Deliver polished edits with strong sound design, color grading, and finishing touches.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, or Visual Arts from a recognized university (diploma/online programs not accepted).
• 2+ years of professional video editing experience in a creative or digital-first industry.
• Proficiency in Capcut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro (or equivalent tools).
• Strong eye for design: composition, color, typography.
• Portfolio that demonstrates storytelling, editing skills, and familiarity with short-form content.
• Awareness of international editing trends and experience tailoring content for North American audiences.
• Creative mindset, ability to meet deadlines, and strong communication skills.
