Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance systems, ensuring they support millions of users across global markets.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and engineering teams to deliver integrated, seamless user experiences.
• Manage system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to improve reliability, security, and efficiency at every layer.
• Drive the full development lifecycle—from requirements gathering and architecture to implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Mentor and develop engineers within your team, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of learning, experimentation, and innovation.
• Ensure teams follow secure software development practices, with rigor in areas such as data handling, quality control, and release management.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and engineering trends relevant to your domain, bringing new ideas to enhance our platforms and delivery.
  
  

Qualifications & Attributes

We’re seeking someone who embodies the following:

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  
  

Experience:

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2–3 years leading engineering teams.
• Demonstrated success in delivering production-grade platforms—whether backend, frontend, or mobile—in fast-paced, tech-driven environments.
  
  

Technical Skills:

Must-haves:

• Strong expertise in scalable system design, performance optimization, and platform reliability.
• Proven experience working with modern architecture patterns (e.g. microservices, APIs, responsive UI frameworks, real-time systems).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and testing strategies.
• Deep understanding of application security, data flows, and scalability principles in either web, mobile, or cloud environments.
  
  

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), or serverless computing (e.g., AWS Lambda).
• Exposure to both backend and client-side technologies, even if primary expertise lies in one domain.
• Contributions to open-source projects or an active presence in the engineering community.
