Production Supervisor

Job Summary:
The Production Supervisor will oversee daily operations within the production department, ensuring that all processes run efficiently and meet the company’s quality standards. This role involves coordinating production schedules, overseeing staff, and ensuring that safety regulations are adhered to. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities and a keen eye for detail to manage the workflow effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production staff.
- Develop and implement production schedules to ensure timely completion of products.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to meet quality and efficiency targets.
- Accurate and timely recording of Batch Manufacturing Sheets (BMRs).
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the production environment.
- Evaluate production performance and implement improvements where necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of production outputs and ensure all documentation is completed correctly.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes.
- Train, mentor, and develop production staff to enhance their capabilities and performance.
- Address any production issues promptly and develop solutions to prevent future occurrences.

Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical production processes and workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing challenges.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working in an on-site production setting.
- Proficiency in using production management software and MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices is a plus.
