Johnson Smith & Co is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Lahore office. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACCA Affiliate or part-qualified candidate to grow within a professional, client-focused accounting firm, working on a diverse portfolio of UK clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and finalize Year-End Accounts accurately and within deadlines
- Handle Corporation Tax (CT) computations and submissions
- Prepare and submit accounts and tax returns using IRIS and TaxCALC
- Manage bookkeeping, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting tasks
- Work with cloud accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
- Ensure compliance with UK accounting and HMRC tax regulations
- Maintain accurate financial records and reporting standards
- Assist senior team members with client portfolio management
- 2–3 years of UK-based accounting experience
- Practical experience with Year-End Accounts and Corporation Tax
- Hands-on experience with IRIS and TaxCALC
- Strong working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, and/or Sage
- ACCA Affiliate or part-qualified (actively pursuing ACCA)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Good communication and time management skills
