Billing and Collections Specialist

As growth demands, Vartana is looking for a multi-talented in-house Billing & Collections Leads. This role is essential in cementing the fruit of our Go-to-Market efforts while making our assets marketable to external funding institutions. You will be an essential player in the Operations team & a strategic partner with Sales & Product. This role reports directly to the Business Operations Lead.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Business Operations Lead to develop & maintain a pristine Billing & Collections operation
• Communicate & follow up effectively with customers regarding their accounts
• Implement established policy & operational process + improve process as they ramp
• Study & rectify ongoing cases of late payments / invoice communication / chargebacks
• Hit month to month collections goals
• Be the primary internal & external point of contact for all Billing & Collections Inquiries
• Must be comfortable tracking data across internal tools & Google sheets
• Must be comfortable managing updates & updating collections outcomes using internal applications
  
  

Requirements

• 2+ years of Billing & Collections work in a related field (SaaS or Quote to cash experience)
• Can be strategic and think about ways to improve a growing organisation over the long term
• Highly proficient in written and verbal communication
• Proactive worker that can operate in ambiguity & high volume environments
• The ability to execute despite pressure or deadlines
• Strong with Google Sheets, Google Docs, Salesforce
• Strong with customer communication (written and verbal)
• Low ego, emotionally resilient, & able to be coached through feedback
• Bachelor's Degree
