Jr. Scrum Master

Job Location: Gulberg, Lahore, Pakistan (Onsite Not Remote)

Work Schedule: Full-time | 02:00 PM 11:00 PM PKT

Key Responsibilities of Scrum Master:

Scrum Master is responsible for delegating tasks appropriately, encouraging collaboration, transparency and coordinating the correct deliverables in a timely manner meeting all quality standards and milestones.

Identifies and procures all necessary resources to meet smaller, tactical project specifications. Facilitates sprint planning meetings and daily stand-up meetings for smaller, tactical projects. Provides burn-down and other weekly reports. He/she will ensure the entire team supports the implemented Scrum process and coach the team members on Agile methodologies.

Mandatory Requirements:

Job Experience:

• 02-05 years of experience in agile scrum master role
• Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
• Good knowledge of Agile frameworks and tools: Scrum, Kanban, Azure DevOps, Jira and Confluence
  
  
  

Details of Requirements:

• Strong expertise in translating business requirements into well-structured user stories that are clear, actionable, and aligned with Agile best practices. They should be able to effectively break down complex requirements into smaller, manageable user stories that accurately reflect the end-user needs and business objectives.
• Defining precise and measurable acceptance criteria to ensure that each user story is testable and meets the desired functionality. This includes outlining expected outcomes, edge cases, and conditions for successful implementation.
• Proficient in establishing a clear Definition of Done (DoD) for each user story, ensuring that it meets quality standards, passes all necessary testing phases, and is ready for deployment. The Definition of Done should cover aspects such as code completeness, unit testing, integration testing, documentation updates, and stakeholder validation.
• Effective ability to coordinate and deliver high-quality outcomes, meeting all timelines, milestones, and standards.
• Expertise in sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming, ensuring data and result driven outcome.
• Ability to track project progress using reporting and metrics such as burn-down charts and velocity tracking, translating insights into actionable improvements.
• Ability to identify and secure necessary resources to meet tactical project requirements, ensuring smooth execution.
• Familiarity with software development.
